My name is Brian Ochoa and I invite you visit my page with the hope that you can feel thru my photography how I perceive this fabulous world.
I was born and raised in the hearts of the Peruvian Andes, in the small town of Urubamba, where I had the privilege to grow immersed in a culture filled with contrast, colors, millenary traditions and breath taking landscapes.
Persuading my education and professional life as an engineer I have had the chance to live in three continents, five countries and eight different cities, giving the opportunity to experience other cultures and understand that we are so different and so similar at the same time.
I have a fascination for traveling, discovering, sharing and capturing moments with people of different cultures and appreciate the beauty of the unknown new landscape.
Even though I don’t have one particular focus in my photography, I enjoy the beauty of the simple life and the complexity of the emotions that one small moment can create deep in ourselves.
I feel that in the pursued of THE perfect instant I got lost in countless wonderful moments…

What is real and what is not? I believe that photography is just one expression of how each of us interprets reality; under that concept everything is real. As there are no two exact moments in life, there are no two exact photos, which makes each of our lives and photos unique!
Without any intension to convince you about my reality, throughout my work what I try is to capture the emotions that one distinctive moment inspired in me.
If you have the time to go over some of my portfolio, you will notice that many of the photos have a touch of surreal colors and contrasts. This is not by chance. It is exactly the reality that I am trying to transmit. The technic that I use to capture some of these conditions is called HDR (High Dynamic Range); where a set of photos is taken of the same scene with different exposures. Doing so, allows me to capture various luminosity levels that other ways will not be possible.
